Frequently Asked Questions

Find the answers to what most people want to know about our GPS Tracker.

How often does the GPS Tracker transmit its position?

At standard settings, the device will send its position once every 24 hours, plus after being stationary for five minutes. You may change the setting based on your preferences. Battery life can depend on settings.

Can I attach the device to a vibrating machine such as a plate compactor?

Yes. The device is shock resistant and tolerates powerful vibrations.

In what situations should I use the GPS Tracker?

The GPS Tracker is best suited to more expensive equipment that is vulnerable to theft, for example, machinery that remains on a project site overnight. This is because the GPS Tracker can register its position independently and automatically, without using a receiver.
